My Thoughts: My girls are HUGE Tinker Bell fans. When we visited Disney World last October, my youngest brought her Tinker Bell Halloween costume to wear when she met Tinker Bell. It was really cute! Needless to say they were super excited when we received our review copy in the mail. Seriously we popped it right into the Blu Ray player.
What I love about Tinker Bell is she’s like a real kid, she just wants to have fun and she wants to see everything, which is how she gets herself trapped. But I love the idea behind the story and that is teaching you to believe. Now granted there really aren’t any fairies no matter how hard we believe but the message I got from that was to believe in what you feel is real and it will come true, in one way shape or another. I love that my girls believe in Tinker Bell and all her fairy friends and they even believe there is such a place called Pixie Hollow, but in order for their imagination to grow, they have to believe in this right now. Some day they will see it’s not all really but all the meanings behind it really are!
We LOVED Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. We’ve watched it 3 times in 5 days already and I know that’s not the last of it. If I could only get that song out of my head now!
