We received a sampling of the items listed above in time for a BBQ we were having for my youngest daughter’s birthday.  There were going to be lots of kids there so I knew that would also be a good time to try these out because all the kids seem to love Cheetos, mine included.

Frito Lay

Before everyone arrived we tried them all.  My husband didn’t want to go near the Cheezy Salsa Mix because he said they looked weird!  I could understand his thinking as there were yellow, orange and green Cheetos tossed together in the bag.  But I thought it looked more interesting than weird.  So I tasted them all and they were pretty interesting.  Not sure it’s something I’d want to have all the time but something I’d get for a BBQ for sure.  Oddly enough, they ended up being the most popular of the adults.   When I emptied them all into the bag, I then tossed the bag.  I found myself pulling it out of the trash a few times because my guests were asking about each flavor and I couldn’t for the life of me remember each time asked.  So eventually the bag was passed around the table.  It really was the talk of the party.

The Xtra Cheezy Mix was consumed almost immediately.  I kid you not when I tell you I live in a house of mice – meaning my kids and husband.  They eat so much cheese and will have (and devour) anything cheese flavor.  So they LOVED the Xtra Cheezy Mix and asked for them as a regular item for me to purchase.

The Doritos Locos Tacos were interesting.  I kept thinking I was going to get that burst of flavor you get when you bit into a Doritos but this wasn’t as flavor full because it was more of a Taco with the Doritos cheese on it.  I think I prefer the regular Doritos over these.  But my family liked them and they disappeared at the party!
