We entertain a lot in the summertime.  We start in the spring and just about every weekend we have some neighbors or friends over.  We have pool which we all love using so we are more than happy to enjoy our weekends (and week days for the mom’s and the kids) by the pool.  And I am SO READY for school to be over and summer to begin.

I really enjoy onion dip and could seriously eat an entire bag of chips with dip in one sitting, if I had the opportunity and am not disciplined.   And my kids feel the same way.  So when we received the NEW Heluva Good Limited Edition Roasted Garlic & Caramelized Onion Dip, there was no reason to wait to try it out.  We were having friends over the next day so I picked up some chips to dip and set it out.

It went… pretty quickly.

So this is a little different from a regular onion dip because it includes roasted garlic and caramelized onions – which definitely changes the flavor, but not in a way that if you enjoy onion dip, you won’t like this.  Because you will LOVE it.  At least I did.  And my oldest daughter told me it was the best.

But one thing I did notice that was pretty different from other onion dips I’ve made, is that it didn’t taste as salty – which is a good thing!    It was a very noticeable different but the salt was not missed.  Instead I could taste more of the flavors from the garlic and onions than just salt.
