Today is National Coffee Day and lots of coffee companies are celebrating the day, including Seattle’s Best.   I’ve never actually walked into a Seattle’s Best Coffee shop but yet I’ve had their coffee several times.  How?   At home!

Seattle’s Best packages coffee and sells it all over the US.  They have ground coffee and k-cups.   Speaking of k-cups… have you heard of the new Keurig 2.0?  It’s the newest machine on the market and it’s a huge upgrade to the way you make coffee at home.  Now with the Keurig 2.0 you can make 1 cup or 4 cups of coffee at once!

Seattle’s Best sent me a nice prize pack which included a Keurig 2.0, some Seattle’s Best k-cups and a k-cup carousel in honor of National Coffee Day.  So my first cup of the day is a Seattle’s Best k-cup.

At some point today I’m hoping to sit down with some of my girlfriends for a cup of coffee to celebrate the day.  I drink coffee every morning and then a couple of times through out the day.  Either at home or on the run.  Coffee is something I enjoy all the time – hot and cold.  The caffeine gives me a nice kick in the morning and then later in the afternoon I turn to decaf because I love a warm cup of coffee after dinner.

So today I’ll probably have several.

    I didn’t know it was Coffee Day. I’m having a colonoscopy today so have not had anything to drink but this past 6 months I lost 35 lbs. I gave up coffee for a few months due to it being a vehicle for fat and sugar for me. I went back but use Stevia and Nature’s Bliss. I missed coffee more than pizza or brownies during the diet.
