I get hungry in the middle of the day and sometimes that can be dangerous. I’m tempted to stop for a cup of coffee and something (bad) yummy to eat. I know that’s not a good idea and I’m only going to be hungry again shortly after.
Fiber helps satisfy your hunger so it’s easier to eat less and lose weight without feeling as hungry.
Did you know that..
- One serving of Fiber One Original cereal provides more than half (57%) of the Daily Value of fiber.
- Fiber One Original cereal is a tasty way to start your morning on the right track with 0 grams of sugar, 14 grams of fiber, 60 calories and 1 gram of fat per serving.

One of the ways I maintain my weight is that I rarely eat anything “white”. Whole wheat pasta, bread, cereal, rice, and flour help you feel full longer and stabilize blood sugar so you don’t “crash” a few hours after eating.
My secret is water. Drink the recommended 6-8 glasses of water a day (or more). Drink it during meals as it will help fill up your belly sooner. Also use it as a reward system. “I can not eat that candy, cookie, etc until I finish this cup”

I found Fiber One Cereal makes me feel full, so I am not as hungry and I eat fewer calories throughout the day.
Divide your food in to portions and put the leftovers away BEFORE you start eating. It will really help you control your portion size/food intake.

I don’t buy tempting things
My secret to avoid missteps while dieting is that I try to eat small meals, and have fruit and fiber with every meal and every dessert.
I also bring food with me to work/school so I know what I put in my body and don’t have to step foot into the Cafeteria at School and be tempted by un-healthy grease soaking foods.

Drink lots of water!
Managing my weight is always a struggle, but when I need to quickly drop some pounds I do a cleanse of protein shakes and one low carb/low fat meal a day.
DO NOT skip meals, especially breakfast! Control your portions, but eat your meals so your metabolism works at an even rate.
You eat what you buy right? I just try not to buy the junk. If it’s not around, I can’t eat it!

In the last 2 years I’ve lost 140lbs & gone from size 24 to 8. Something that keeps me on track is being a food snob. I’ve worked too hard to waste calories on waxy chocolate, but feel like I’ve earned the good stuff occasionally.
My “SECRET” is Planning!
I plan all my meals out a head of time which reduces stress and controls calories.
