The Mistresses of ABC are back tonight, June 2, 2014 at 10 PM EST on ABC!!! Are you as excited as I am? I’m talking about a TV show just in case you were wondering. And if you haven’t started watching it yet, you can watch the entire first season on Hulu today just in time for tonight’s season premiere! Seriously, stop reading and start watching! I binged watch it in 2 days only because my kids and my husband were around. If they had been in school and work, I could have knocked it out in one day. You won’t want to stop watching after each episode – you’ll want more!!
For those of you that are already fans of Mistresses, I’m sure you’ve been waiting at the edge of your seat to see what happens next, right? And guess what? I KNOW!

Mistresses Season 2 Premiere
Last month on my super fun media trip to Los Angeles, I saw the Mistresses season 2 premiere along with the other 24 bloggers on that trip. There was a lot of ‘oohhhs’ and ‘awwwws’ as we watched together and it was a great way to tie up last season and introduce a new one. I can’t tell you what happened, you’ll have to tune in tonight but it’s good, it’s REALLY GOOD!!!!
Tonight’s episode is called “Rebuild”.
“Rebuild” – Eight months later, Savi, having cheated death, makes the most of her second chance. Karen struggles to rebound from loss, both personal and professional. April’s life gets interesting when old friend, Mickey (guest star Joseph May), returns and pushes her to make some changes and Joss tries her hand at a new job, party planner to wealthy Angelenos, in the second season premiere of “Mistresses,” MONDAY, JUNE 2 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Soleil Moon Frye guest stars as herself.
Who does Savi choose? I know!! But I’m not telling. But I will tell you that you will find out tonight!!!
Our visit to Culver Studios was an exciting one – besides seeing the Mistresses Season 2 premiere, we also had the chance to meet with a couple of people involved in the show.

While in the screening room, we all spied some cute outfits set up in the corner. And then we watched the Mistresses season 2 premiere and we recognized those outfits!

Super cute right? Can you guess who wears what before scrolling down any further? All of these outfits were worn in the Mistresses Season 2 premiere and it was cool to see them onscreen and then right in front of us! And the girl’s looked great in them. What girls am I referring too? Savi (Alyssa Milano), April (Rochelle Aytes), Karen (Yunjin Kim) and Joss (Jes Macallan).

In the picture above, the ladies have on the outfits that were laid out for us to see, except for Savi. We see her’s at another time. Roemhel says we’ll see April in more leather this season (perhaps she starts living life on the more dangerous side?). I’m excited to see what she comes up with. Roemehl goes on to tell us that the color of Joss’s skirt (is it lavender?) is a popular color right now so she had to place that somewhere in the premiere. I love it! And Karen, well this dress just looks gorgeous on her! These are all super cute and I’m loving the direction that costume designer Roemehl Hawkins is going this season. Super cute and very stylish.
It’s all about the clothes and they have a ton of outfits for the girl’s that we are going to love, I can just tell! Should I get myself a leather jacket and follow along in April’s style? Perhaps with turning 41 tomorrow, it’ll make me feel like I am still young (and I know I am!)
Okay, back to Mistresses and less about my birthday coming up tomorrow ( 😉 wink, wink ).

The picture above is in April’s store and I had the chance to walk that set but more of that for another time! All of these images are from the Mistresses Season 2 Premiere that is on tonight (6/2/14 on ABC at 10pm EST). So while I won’ t give you any spoilers, I will show you some scenes from it.

Roemehl chatted with us a little bit while we were there. She loves her job, which is pretty obvious. Who wouldn’t enjoy styling these four beautiful ladies! She puts together complete outfits from top to bottom – accessories included – for each episode. Once she knows what the story line is going to be, she begins her magic.

I bet these 4 ladies are really fun to work with. (Actually I had the chance to meet one of the, but that is for another post!) So where does Roemehl get her inspiration? That seemed to be the hot question from the bloggers Believe it or not, Roemehl gets a lot of her ideas from reading blogs! Fashion blogs of course, but isn’t it great to know that the costume designers for great shows like Mistresses actually read blogs for inspiration!? It really is one of the best ways to keep up with the fashion trends and she totally recognizes it.
Why you HAVE TO watch Mistresses tonight
As you know last season ended on a sad note with Savi being in what looked like a really bad accident and landing herself in the hospital. And she was pregnant. And she seems to be in a love triangle. Who will Savi choose? I still won’t tell you, you have to watch tonight!

Don’t worry, all is revealed tonight and it may surprise you! And it happens pretty close to the beginning so you don’t have to worry about them dragging it until the end.
And someone dies tonight too. It’s sad, it brought tears to my eyes. But you’ll have to watch and see who dies. (sorry no spoilers from me, I already told you!).
My best friend started watching Mistresses last season and was hooked immediately, like most are that watch it. When I came back from my tip she begged me to tell her. And I told her that even though she is my best friend and I pretty much do tell her everything, this was one thing I had to keep quiet about and she had to wait until June 2nd. And today is the day.

Meeting Jason George
You must know who Jason George is… He’s the handsome actor that not only gets to have a fling with Savi (Alyssa Milano) but he also stops by the hospital formerly known as Seattle Grace and also gets to be Miranda Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) husband on Grey’s Anatomy. He’s probably one of the biggest flirts on TV and I bet he makes everyone at home think he’s flirting with them too! Yup, that Jason George I had the honor of meeting and it was a nice meeting at that.

Jason George is a great guy. I figured this out about 2 minutes after we first met him. It’s not just all about his looks ladies! One of the bloggers that was on the media trip with me, adores Jason George. Okay, Adores probably isn’t the right word to use – obsessed might be better, but we’ll stick with she “ADORES Jason George”. She had been tweeting back and forth with him and was so nervous to meet him. And then he was there – and she went running away and tried to hide, because she was so nervous to meet him. He came onto the set we were on and immediately started asking for Choya (from The Real Frugal Divas – be sure to read her post about this as well – I will link to it as soon as it’s live). So we pushed her to the front and I grabbed her camera while he gave her a HUGE hug!
( I think this is about where she died ) and then he posed for some pictures with her and then he did it – HE GAVE HER A KISS ON THE CHEEK AND DIDN’T MOVE UNTIL HE KNEW SOMEONE GOT THE PICTURE. Actually looking back now, I think that is where she died and went to heaven.
It was a fun moment on the set of Mistresses – one that we’ll always remember, especially Choya. It just shows that he really loves his fans and in all honesty, if it weren’t for us (his fans) he wouldn’t be on two great TV shows at the same time! He’s a great actor and a fun guy too.
He chatted with us for a little while and then he gave us a tour of the law office. (That’s the office in the background of the image above) We asked him where the scene between him and Savi took place – the steamy scene that was responsible for her pregnancy, and he said that since that was in the pilot they didn’t have a set yet so they rented an office someplace in LA and shot it there! That office must be pretty proud to claim that hot moment!
Jason George is married and he is the father of girl / boy twins. He told us that the picture on his desk is actually a picture of his kids! How sweet. Of course we’ll never catch a glimpse of it but pretty cool knowing it’s there. He chatted with a blogger about having boy/girl twins and he says his favorite question he gets from people when he says he has twins and that one is a boy and one is a girl, is “Are they identical?” HAHA!
He’s a funny guy, great actor and huge supporter of his fans. Not to mention steamingly hot! It was awesome to have met him and I’m so grateful for the opportunity.
