I love coffee – especially from my Keurig Single Brewer. I’ve had one for a while now and I can’t imagine going backwards to a drip coffee maker again. Friends of mine were visiting yesterday and I offered them some coffee or tea. They told me not to go through the trouble of making a pot of coffee. I told them I wouldn’t be doing that since I can make one cup at a time. This led to a discussion of the Keurig and how much the k-cups cost. She asked me if it was true each cup cost $2! I laughed and told her that was way off but perhaps some people were paying that much for a cup. I then told her about Cross Country Cafe and their weekly sales and already great low prices and told her that really you could spend less than $.50 a k-cup with sales and shipping discounts. She had no idea it could be that inexpensive. So if you are still paying a lot for your K-Cups, be sure to check Cross Country Cafe because there prices are very affordable and they are my favorite place to get K-Cups!

They know about my love of coffee so they recently sent me some of the new Tullys Hawaiian Blend K-cup to try. I recently began drinking my coffee black so now I’m enjoying coffee even more because I taste so much more of it. So I was excited to get this blend.

About Tullys Hawaiian Blend K-Cups

Beautifully balanced, with a mild sweetness and an elegant simplicity. Contains 10% Hawaiian coffee and other fine Arabica beans.

Like a well-deserved vacation, this variety holds a special place in our imagination. Maybe it’s the mild sweetness and elegant simplicity. Or maybe it’s because some of the best coffee we’ve ever tasted has been on an island, surrounded by tropical breezes. Either way, our Hawaiian Blend is a place we want to be. Contains 10% Hawaiian coffee and other fine Arabica beans.

When I was married (almost 12 years ago), my husband and I went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. It was wonderful! While there, not only did I fall in love with the island but I also fell in love with the coffee and took some Kona coffee home with me! This blend has only a 10% mix of Hawaiian coffee but it was delicious!!!

In the past I’ve preferred a milder coffee but now that I drink coffee black, I’m open to stronger coffees, which this is. The first cup I made smelled so good and I was so excited to sip it. I like my coffee HOT, and drink it as soon as it stops brewing. And even though I don’t add cream anymore, I still like it that way!!

The Tully’s Hawaiian Blend definitely has a stronger taste, however I found it full of flavor at the same time and really enjoyed it. Sometimes strong coffees taste ‘over cooked’ to me, not sure if that will make sense but it’s the only way I can think to explain it. But the Tully’s Hawaiian Blend tastes full of flavor and not ‘over cooked’.

If you own a Keurig and need to find a good price on your favorite K-Cups, check out Cross Country Cafe because their prices sometimes even bet Amazon!
