I struggle with my 2 boys about snacks all the time! With one of them being diabetic it can cause a few issues! THey both eat healthy but it is very hard for them to understand why!

Yes, I often trick my little cousins into trying something new. When they see that the old kids are eating it and like it the younger kids are more likely to try it too. The younger kids want to be “big” like the older ones.
Yes, my kids are very picky eaters and I try my best to get them to eat healthy. I sneak in healthy snacks, like pirates booty and cliff bars, etc. so they still have “junk food” but its good for them too!

I try to sneak healthy snacks in their lunch bags, but they don’t always eat them.
Sometimes snacks are a struggle with my daughter. I try to sneak in hummus and carrots, peel and slice apples, and try for real fruit ice pops.

My nephew has autism and since his diagnosis in May, he’s had nothing but healthy snacks (mozarella string cheese sticks, carrots, celery with natural peanut butter, stone ground corn tortillas with refried beans and cheese w/salsa on top make GREAT healthy choices for your little ones.) His meltdowns and overall focus has made a remarkable improvement since we got rid of preservatives and (most) processed foods. Also, Almond milk is a GREAT substitute for cow’s milk and more nutritional too!

my daughter is pretty easy going with snacks
I don’t have kids, but when I was a foster mom, I figured out that the more colorful the veggie, the more likely she was to eat it.

My oldest is an excellent eater, but my 2 yr old is terrible. He also would like to just snack all day. We’ve been buying pirates booty for him for awhile now. There’s no dyes and junk and in it so I too feel good about it. For awhile, when he was 1, we’d go food shopping and he’d chant “booty, booty” until I got to that aisle and opened it for him! We did get some weird looks LOL. I’m constantly trying to sneak healthy foods into him. I like blending veggies into his smoothies.

I don’t really have struggles over snacks, or have to sneak things in, but of course most kids would prefer the “junk food” if that’s an option, lol, but I think finding a nice balance is key. Nothing is really off-limits, it just has to be eaten in moderation!
