This post is Sponsored by Chili’s but my opinions are 100% my own!
Have you seen the new Chili’s Fresh Mex Menu? The girls love going to Chili’s but we don’t seem to go very often so I was happy when I heard about the new menu because I just had to check it out. I love Southwest flavored food and Chili’s is my favorite place to get my fix. I think it was the first of its type in the area and I just prefer it the most.
Chili’s has always been known for bold, Southwest flavors and if you are looking for a fresh take on the Tex Mex cuisine, then you must go to Chili’s! They’ve created two Fresh Mex bowls — the Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl and the Margarita Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl – as well as Enchiladas and create-your-own Southwest Pairings starting at $8. Yes, you read that right the pairing start at only $8 a dish! That’s an awesome price and definitely in my ‘eating out price range’.
So I got the Create your own Southwest Pairings with a Cheese Enchilada and Beef Enchilada. This comes with black beans and rice is is the perfect size. I love the corn salsa they put on top too!
For the Southwest Pairings you have a choice of either 2 or 3 of the following:
- Green Chile Chicken Enchilada – filled with seasoned chicken and Monterey Jack cheese and topped with green chile sauce, melted three-cheese blend, chopped cilantro, house-made corn and black bean salsa.
- Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada – filled with seasoned chicken and Monterey Jack cheese and topped with sour cream sauce, melted three-cheese blend, chopped cilantro, house-made corn and black bean salsa.
- Beef Enchilada – filled with taco seasoned beef, three-cheese blend and onion and topped with ancho sauce, melted three-cheese blend, chopped cilantro, house-made corn and black bean salsa.
- Cheese Enchilada – filled with a three-cheese blend and diced onion and topped with ancho-chile sauce, melted three-cheese blend and chopped cilantro.
- Tostada – Taco seasoned beef or seasoned chicken with fresh shredded lettuce, house-made pico de gallo, three-cheese blend and black beans topped with chopped cilantro, fresh avocado slices and a drizzle of cumin-lime sour cream on a crispy corn tortilla dusted with southwestern spices.
- Crispy Taco – Taco seasoned beef or seasoned chicken, fresh shredded lettuce, three-cheese blend, house-made pico de gallo, chopped cilantro and a fresh avocado slice in a crispy corn tortilla dusted with southwestern spices.
My husband choose a trio of Enchilada’s too…
The girls love the cheese Quesadilla’s and usually have those. They are always happy and ready to pose for a picture for me as you can see below…
I think if I don’t take a picture of them while out to eat, they don’t feel that the dinner is complete. Myself on the other hand, I don’t feel a dinner is complete at Chili’s if I don’t have a Margarita…
They have the best margarita’s (besides my husbands!)…
Disclosure: I received a Free product for review. My opinions are 100% mine.
Have never eaten at Chili’s because I thought it would be expensive. According to your post it isn’t bad. The enchiladas look delicious and the margarita super delicious..
This menu makes it affordable! Try it.
