World Blood Donor Day is Tuesday, June 14th and you can donate blood through give—a partnership between the American Red Cross, America’s Blood Centers and Nexcare Bandages which is trying to spread awareness about the need for blood donation.

This year’s Nexcare give Bandage collection is announcing that “Saving a Life is Stylish.”  These bandage designs are inspired by the latest runway trends, and include chevron, plaid, gingham, zebra and “original.”

You can sign-up for free, limited edition bandages on the Nexcare give Facebook Page.  You can also locate community blood centers, share personal stories and show yourr pride among the give community of supporters.  Blood donation centers across the country will also be joining in this celebration and distributing give bandages to those who donate blood from Tuesday, June 14th to Sunday, June 19th.

1 person’s donation can save up to 3 lives! Less than 10% of Americans donate blood each year, but if just 1% more donated, the national blood shortages would disappear for the foreseeable future.  Visit the give cause online at www.nexcaregive.com where you can find a Blood Center location nearby, get more information and sign up to receive free give bandages
