K-Cup Frozen Lemonade Recipe

I have another summer drink recipe for you using a k-cup. This one is pretty straight forward but before I started thinking outside the box with my over ice k-cups, I would have never thought about doing this!

My kids love frozen lemonade but when that lemonade truck comes by, all I see is how expensive it is.  And while k-cups aren’t dirt cheap, when I buy them from Cross Country Cafe, I know I’m getting the best deal.  Plus, when I make this frozen lemonade, I can get a cup for each of them from just one k-cup.  So it’s definitely cheaper than the Lemonade Truck.

Here is the super simple recipe use the Green Mountain Naturals Lemonade k-cup.  It’s so easy your going to slap yourself over the head and say “DOH”.

K-Cup Frozen Lemonade

Ice

First you’ll want to brew your Lemonade k-cup in your Keurig over ice. I used the 8 ounce setting. Then I added that to my Ninja Blender and filled it with ice.  I added more ice to get it to the consistency that I liked so that may vary depending on your blender.   The end result isn’t exactly like the lemonade you get from the truck but it works the same and does the job!

Pour in a glass, add straw and enjoy! My kids and I loved it and I loved how much more affordable it was!
