Kreo

This post is Sponsored by Hasbro but my opinions are 100% my own!

I may have girls and not boys but they love building things.  This makes my husband happy because he can only do enough with dolls and play food.  He loves building things as well and each year after Christmas he usually spends hours with them, building play sets that they receive as gifts.

We’ve enjoy KRO-O Construction sets but this is way beyond brilliant of them and just opens the door to so much more playing time.  I love when kids play and whenever they tell me they are bored I give them the speech about how they have so many things to just go and play!

We’ll they have been playing since we received the KRE-O CityVille Invasion Police Station Zombie Defense Building Set!   What is it about this one that makes it fun?  The KRE-O Construction brand from Hasbro is changing the face of brick-based play with the new innovative Sonic Motion Technology and KRE-O CityVille Invasion line which was inspired by the CityVille Invasion app by ZYNGA.

Each building set is equipped with Sonic Motion Technology which means sound waves trigger specific movements in special KRE-O bricks creating a live action scene.   This really brings imaginative play to life for sure!

There are two sets in the 2013 KRE-O cityville Invasion line including the KRE-O CityVille Invasion Police Station Zombie Defense building sets.  Kids all over will have these on the top of their holiday wish lists once they see them in action!

Zombie Kreon figures walk the night while Zombies storm the police station as Sergeant Baker and Deputy Strong try to contain the outbreak.  Sonic Motion technology brings the zombie figures along with rotating turret and spinning station beacon to life.  This set includes 270 pieces with 5 Kreon figures and an additional mystery Kreon.  It also includes and exclusive QR Code to unlock KREONs in the CityVille Invasion app.  So they can continue playing after the game is put away too!

These are small pieces and are not intended for small children.   They suggest ages 7 and up which I think is good, though my 6 year old is fine with it.

This does require 3 AAA batteries which are not included (shame on you Hasbro!) and it’s available where toys are sold for about $24.99.   This one along with the Haunted Hideaway building set will be available in the fall of 2013 so keep your eye out for it!
