I am so tickled pink over this. Have you heard of Lotty Dotty interactive t-shirts and handbags? They were inspired by playing dress up with paper dolls because you can change the outfit of the girl on your shirt with another outfit. So cool right? Well my daughter received a Lotty Dotty t-shirt along with an extra mini outfit and her eyes opened wide when she saw that she can dress up the doll on her shirt. Cute right?
They sell them for mother and for daughter so you can match each other… or not! They even sell tote bags that also have dolls on them you can dress up. It’s really simple to do because the outfits have velcro on them so you can just pull them off and put on new ones. If your daughter chooses not to ‘dress up’ her doll, it’ll look like she is wearing a bathing suit. Wicked cute!
My daughter loved her shirt and she said she needed to wear some pants or shorts that had pockets if she wore this shirt. I looked at her a bit puzzled not sure why she needs pockets to wear this shirt….
So I asked her “Why do you need pockets?”. She looked at me as if I had 15 heads because clearly I should have known why already so why was I asking!!!! And she said “So I can put the other mini outfit in my pocket so when I need to change it I can!”. And I know she wanted to add in a “DUH!” but she knew better than too!
If you decide to not dress up your doll, it looks like she has a bathing suit on, which is just fine….
But I think the dresses are much prettier….
Don’t you? (Notice my Zebra loving girl has her shorts!)
