I don’t like to clean.  I never have and I never will.  But I still do it.  I actually received a very good compliment from a neighbor recently that really meant a lot to me since I hate to clean and don’t think I do the ‘best’ job at it.  I feel like I do just enough to get by and not have a ‘dirty’ house.  I was sharing with my neighbor the great deals I scored on some cleaning products recently and her husband said to send some of those things over to them because I couldn’t possibly need them all since my house is always so clean!  I was so happy to hear that because I honestly feel that my house always needs to be clean.  And it’s not perfect, but i guess from the outside looking in, it’s clean.  I honestly was one of the best compliments ever and I so needed to hear that.

One person who helps me do the one chore I hate to do is Mr. Clean.   You know him, right?  He’s been around for a long time.  He’s the bald guy that everyone has a love/hate relationship with.   You know, you love him because he helps to clean your house, but you hate him because he doesn’t do it for you?  Yes, that’s the guy I’m talking about!

Mr. Clean has a new product out and it’s amazing.    It’s a multi-purpose cleaner that is a concentrated liquid gel and it has the Gain scent.    I love the smell of Gain, it’s one of my favorites!!!  It’ has 2.5 times the power in ever drop and cleans really well.  I’ve been using it in my kitchen and bathroom for a couple of weeks and not only does everything smell great after I’m done cleaning, but it looks clean too.

You can use this two ways – dilute  it with water or use it straight from the bottle – depending on what you are cleaning and how dirty it is.   However if you use it straight from the bottle, you should make sure you rinse it well.   But seriously a little goes a long way.

I really needed to clean my white kitchen cabinets.  It’s been a while since I gave them a good wash and the occasionally wipe down just isn’t cutting it anymore.  Especially around the handles.  So I grabbed my cleaning bucket, filled it with water and squirted some Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle in there.   Oh, it smelled so good!!!

And it worked great.

Since I had the bucket filled and ready to clean I then cleaned off my entire kitchen counter and gave that a good wash.  OMG it felt good to clean it and it smelled so great in the kitchen.  When the kids came home afterwards, they commented on how nice it smelled and asked me what I did.

Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle is available at Walmart and the 16 ounce size you can get for less than $3!

Have you tried this yet?  If you haven’t I highly suggest you grab it and give it a go.  And if you don’t like to clean like me, just fill the bucket with water and Mr. Clean and grab a sponge.  Then quickly go from kitchen to bathroom and just get it done.   Your house will smell so nice, you’ll be happy you did it.

I really should have taken a picture before I started cleaning so you could see what my kitchen typically looks like because this is definitely not normal.  My mother came over after I finished cleaning and was so surprised to see it so neat and the counters cleared off.  It stayed like this for one day… not it’s back to normal.
