Who doesn’t love cookies right?

We’ve really been enjoying the Newman’s Own Organic products we’ve been receiving for review this year.  I honestly had never tried any of them and now I find my family asking for some of these!  And I can’t blame them because they are just really good!

They recently added some new cookies to the Family Recipe and the Newman-O’s cookie lines.  The new cookies are Spelt Ginger Snap Cookies and Vanilla Newman-O’s!   “We’ve seen how popular our Spelt Pretzels are and the increased popularity of the use of alternative grains in cookies. We’ve added organic spelt flour to our existing Ginger Snaps for an additional choice”, says Nell Newman, co-founder of Newman’s Own Organics. “Both are made with real candied ginger and are crunchy, spicy, and not too sweet. Adding a vanilla sandwich cookie with vanilla crème is a tasty addition to our chocolate wafer crème cookies. We’re delighted with the two new great tasting cookies that gives consumers even more choices.” says Nell Newman.

Well we were delighted too!  We shared these with some friends of ours and they absolutely loved the Ginger Snaps and ate them up pretty fast.   The girls loved the Newman-O’s and especially enjoyed crumbling some up and having them over ice cream!

Along with these cookies we were able to try the Double Chocolate Chip cookies and the Peanut Butter Cream filled cookies.   Both of them were delicious too.  My favorite out of the 4 are the Peanut Butter Cream cookies.  I could eat all of those myself and not even share.  We all love peanut butter and thankfully have no allergies so these are a family favorite now.

The Spelt Ginger Snaps (6.5 oz.) Family Recipe Cookies,  Chocolate Chip, Orange Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip (all 8 oz.), original Ginger Snaps (6.5 oz.) and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip (7 oz.) have a suggested retail price is $3.49.
