Biscotti Basics
- Biscotti are gourmet dunking cookies, pronounced in Italy, but more commonly pronounced in America.
- The name Biscotti is derived from ‘bis’ meaning twice in Italian and ‘cotto’ meaning baked.
- Biscotti was first created in the fourteenth century in the Tuscany region of Italy.
- Most popular selling biscotti on the market and the only national brand sold coast to coast.
Nonni’s Biscotti are made with real eggs, butter and gourmet bittersweet chocolate so they are light, crunchy, and delicately sweet.

My Thoughts: I love Nonni’s Biscotti so I was excited to try the Salted Caramel Biscotti. It was really good and had a nice mixture of sweet and salty to satisfy my craving. And Nonni’s Biscotti are always nice and crunchy and the perfect side to my afternoon or late night cup of coffee.
I’ve had the mini Caramel ones before and loved the addition of the salt to these and would probably choose these over the regular Caramel ones in the future.
But what I loved most about these is they are individually packaged so not only will they stay fresh longer, but they are easy to transport when I’m heading out and want to take a snack with me. Another reason I like the individual packs is I can put together a fun holiday gift for the girls’ teachers and include a yummy Salted Caramel Biscotti with it as well. How fun would that be to receive?!
