My family enjoys pizza.  My mother makes it every Friday and we gather at her house as often as we can to have some.  It’s really good!  The girls love helping with the pizza and they especially enjoy making their own pizza’s!  We tend to make pizza at home a lot in the winter because I like to keep the oven going and on Sundays, pizza is always good when Football is on!

As much as I enjoy making pizza, I don’t enjoy making the dough so we turn to pre-made dough every single time.  One that I’ve used many times is Pillsbury but this was the first time I used the Artisan pizza crust with whole grain.  I didn’t tell my family I just made it with all the usually toppings – red sauce, cheese and pepperoni.  The won’t have it any other way.  And no one noticed the difference in the crust so I’ll probably sneak in the whole grain more often!

They both look delicious and I think the BBQ Chicken one above would be perfect with some left over chicken.  My oldest would even eat this one as long as I didn’t put too many onions on it.
