My Thoughts: We love Pirate’s Booty.  My girls will ask for it instead of cookies sometimes.  And since it’s so much better for them than cookies, I’m all for it.  I like to stick to 100 calorie snacks for myself and since Pirate’s Booty is only 130 calories per serving it’s perfect when I’m looking for something crunchy.  And it’s very crunchy!  I do find that I need to fill my bowl and then put the bag away because I could sit there and eat the entire bag in one sitting, which at that point the whole healthy part is tossed out the window!

I’ve tried the Pirate’s Booty Veggie as well and I didn’t tell my kids what they were really eating and they gobbled it all up too! What a great way to get some veggies in them when they aren’t suspecting!   Next I want to try the Barbeque and sour cream & onion variety!  Those are my favorite flavors in chips so I’m curious to see if I’ll like the puffed rice and corn version!

What we LOVED about Pirate’s Booty:

  • It was like having cheddar cheese popcorn but so much better for me!
  • My kids asked for it more than cookies!  They loved it.
  • It’s nice and crunchy which is something that I crave when looking for a snack.
  • It fits into my diet!!

What we Didn’t Like about Pirate’s Booty:

  • It disappeared to quickly!  There wasn’t much else we didn’t like about it besides that.

Have you tried Pirate’s Booty?

Disclosure: I received FREE samples of Pirate’s Booty for my review. This did not influence my post and as always, my words are my own.
