Product Name: ReadyU and P&G
Product Information: Whether you’re a busy, laid back or protective mom, every mother wants to send their child off to college well-equipped and prepared for anything. Thanks to P&G, you can now return to life as an empty nester worry-free knowing that your kids are well armed for life’s everyday challenges.
ReadyU is a program that aims to improve the lives of college students by helping them through the anxiety of leaving home, meeting new friends and living on their own. ReadyU supports college students by providing the content, experiences and solutions they need to conquer beyond the classroom. The program is supported by over 150 colleges throughout the country and is championed by campus ambassadors with dedicated events featuring select P&G products, which assist students in succeeding in those important moments that go beyond the average curriculum.
Check out what ReadyU is hosting at your kid’s school—visit Ready U at www.facebook/readyu.
While they are at school, you can show your student that you love them by sending them the ultimate ReadyU care package with products from Gillette, Old Spice, COVERGIRL, Tide, Herbal Essences, Crest, Olay, Secret and Duracell. These products make getting up for a 10:10 a.m. class on time or doing three weeks worth of laundry simple. Growing up isn’t easy, so make them feel closer to home!
Purchase Information: You can purchase P&G products in drug stores and grocery stores nationwide.
My Thoughts: When I was in college I begged my mom to send me a care package, but she never did. Not that she wouldn’t send me what I needed, but she didn’t have the time to do it since she worked so much so instead she’d put money into my bank account so I could buy what I needed. While that worked out fine, I really just wanted to get a package in the mail with something from home because I was a bit homesick.
If she had sent me a ReadyU care package like I received from P&G to review, I would of been super excited. P&G products are some of my favorite and they are all such a great value, how can you not purchase them! This past weekend there was a P&G coupon insert in your Sunday paper, look through it and find some items that are on sale and go and purchase them and make a care package for someone you know going off to college. I know they will appreciate it. Seriously, it’s the only time they will like getting deodorant, shampoo and tampons as a gift! lol

I’d say Tide.

ohmy, i think that razors (venus!) are a big staple for college students. they can get expensive sometimes, and getting them in a care package would certainly be a nice surprise!
I would say Gain or Tide but that assumes my kids are doing laundry!
I think Tide would be the best for a college student. It’s expensive but my favorite detergent!

i follow on FB…. i think deoderant….. dont want to smell bad…. love koupon karen and all your great information and coupons, freebies…. the best.
I TOTALLY would send a college student Tide! When you’re on your own, you only have money for the cheap stuff and it just doesn’t cut it. Tide will make them think of home when they’re sleeping on those freshly-washed sheets. My mom would always send me back with a huge bottle of Tide when I came home on breaks, and I’d pour it into a bottle of the cheap stuff so people wouldn’t steal it. lol Good times!
I like Koupon Karen on facebook.
Definitely good razors, I don’t want my son to grow too much of a beard!
I say Tide! I love the smell and I sent 2 kids off to college this week. 🙁 Im sure we will be buying lots and lots of laundry soap!
I think Swiffer Dusters, Tide, Febreeze, & Duracell batteries would be nice to include in a care package

Tide is a must-have. Those cheap-o detergents kids use don’t cut it. At all. I will accept nothing less than the best!
I’d stock my daughter up with Tide so I know she always has clean clothes! My son would definitely need stocking up with deodorant!
I would send Tide so they could do their laundry and not haul it back to mom at home!

I would say the best P&G item fo rcare packages would be the venus razors. They are expensive unless you find them on sale and with a coupon. I would much rather have my child studying than sorting through coupons and sales! Although my 4 year old knows we don’t go anywhere without my coupons! 🙂
If I gave my daughter the Tide, maybe, just maybe, she would do her luandry at school instead of bringing it home on the weekends. I can dream, can’t I? LOL

Tide, because it gets out just about any stain!

I would say laundry detergent — the more laundry they can do while away at school, the less dirty laundry they will bring home for you!
Besides, if I remember correctly, laundry detergent was NOT a high priority on my grocery list! LOL!

I have to go with Tide–because they will want to buy cheep detergent–they will and they will ruin their clothes. Years ago I was juggeling 2 jobs and my husband started doing the laundry and the shopping–he didn’t see why I splurged on Tide and constantly ruined my clothes, the kids clothes–his own clothes–he would insist it must have been bleach left over from the person who used the machine before him–then one day the children and I got a terrible rash–and my husband admited he wasn’t using Tide.
