My Thoughts: We are milk drinkers here and we’ve never tried Silk before so I was happy to give it a try. I picked up two products; Silk Almond Milk and Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk. I figured I’d probably be able to get my kids to try the Dark Chocolate Almond Milk without them even realizing it wasn’t regular milk.
I wasn’t completely successful in them not realizing it because they did notice a difference in taste, however they really liked it and so did I! My friend gets Almond milk all the time and has told me on several occasions that it was very good and I know I know why! It’s nice and creamy and while I can taste the flavor of Almond, I don’t mind as I love almonds. I think this would be awesome in smoothies as well.
I tried it with my cereal and enjoyed that as well. It gave the cereal a little more flavor, which made it even more enjoyable! I will defiantly be buying Silk more often.
