Product Name: Zarbee’s Children’s Cough & Sleep Drink

Product Information:Common drug-based cough syrups contain ingredients that can be harmful, resulting in serious and even potentially life-threatening side effects in young children. Every year, roughly 10,000 children are taken to emergency rooms because of cough syrup overdoses. In 2007, the FDA took the decision that no medicated cough syrups were safe for use in young children. As a result, all of these products (eg. Triaminic, Delsym, Children’s Robitussin, Children’s Tylenol , and many other drug-based products) were either removed from the market or re-labeled for use only in children over 4, or even 6 years of age. You won’t find any drugs in any zarbee’s formula. The ingredients in zarbee’s are safe and all-natural with no side effects. Zarbee’s uses ingredients that are proven to be safe for children. Simple by design, the zarbee’s formula uses only what is necessary to safely calm coughs, sore throats, night coughing, and hoarseness.

All zarbee’s products are:

  • 100% natural
  • Contain no drugs
  • Contain no alcohol

My Thoughts: My daughter is up all night sometimes coughing when she’s sick. So this past week when she started coughing I grabbed the free sample of Zarbee’s Children’s Cough & Sleep drink that I received for review. The only problem is that she hates the flavor of some medicines – especially grape. Guess what flavor we received? Yup – Grape!

The instructions said it was good for children aged 2 and up and I could add 2 ounces of warm water or 4 ounces of warm water if I wanted less flavor. So we talked about it and I told her to at least try it, it may work very well. We decided we’d try the 2 ounces and if it was too much flavor, then we’d add more. But I explained to her the less water, the faster it will be gone. My 7 year old is tough!

The verdict – she loved it AND more importantly it worked well… she barely coughed all night long.

Disclosure: I received a free sample of the above item for review. My opinions are 100% mine.
